We require a minimum notice period of 24 hours for cancelling or rescheduling appointments. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the appointment time, or if the appointment is missed entirely without any notice (a “Did Not Attend” or DNA), we will impose a fee equivalent to the full cost of the appointment.
This policy allows us to offer the cancelled appointment slot to other patients who may be on a waiting list.
It’s important to note why we impose this charge. The demand for our services often exceeds availability, and last-minute cancellations or missed appointments prevent us from providing treatment to other patients in need. This results in wasted time and resources, and extends the waiting time for others.
Regarding insurance coverage for missed appointments or late cancellations, please be aware that insurance companies typically do not cover these charges. Therefore, we request that all patients take responsibility for settling these charges themselves.
12. Outstanding Accounts and Collection Policy
In the event that an account remains unpaid for 2 months after the appointment date, the account will be handed over to a debt collection agency. All costs incurred during the debt collection process must be met by the patient.
By booking an appointment with Complete Recovery Physiotherapy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this cancellation, missed appointment, and debt collection policy. We appreciate your understanding that this policy is ultimately in place to ensure the best possible service for all our patients.
13. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any dispute arising in relation to these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
