How to Book
Booking is straightforward. You can:
- Call us on 0161 399 2438
- Book online directly through our website
Not sure which appointment type is best for you? No problem — just give us a call. We’re happy to discuss your situation and recommend the most suitable option.
We look forward to supporting you on your recovery journey.
What to Expect At Your First Appointment
Initial appointments are usually 50 minutes long. This gives us plenty of time to take a detailed history, carry out a thorough assessment, and start treatment during your first visit.
Follow-up sessions are typically 30 minutes, although we can book longer appointments if your condition requires more time.
During your session you can expect:
- A full assessment of your problem
- Hands-on treatment where appropriate
- Clear explanation of the diagnosis
- Personalised advice and a tailored rehabilitation plan
What to Wear
Please wear something comfortable and easy to move in — gym clothes, joggers, leggings or shorts work well. If we are assessing or treating your upper body, a vest top or sports bra is helpful so we can examine your shoulder, neck or back properly.
Before Your Appointment
A few days before your visit, we’ll email you a short form to complete (medical history and consent). Filling these in advance helps us prepare for your appointment and ensures we make the most of your time with us.

Your Treatment Journey
Your first appointment is all about truly understanding your problem — what’s causing it, what’s making it worse, and how it’s affecting your daily life. From this detailed assessment we’ll give you a clear diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan.
Recovery from most musculoskeletal issues takes time. On average, patients need 6–10 sessions to achieve lasting results. This is because we don’t just treat the pain — we address the underlying strength deficits, movement patterns, and muscle imbalances that often cause the problem to return.
For example, with an arthritic knee we may reduce pain and swelling in the early sessions and refer you for an MRI if needed. However, long-term success comes from progressively rebuilding strength and control around the joint. Muscles take consistent, well-guided loading to recover properly.
Many patients choose to continue with occasional 1:1 rehabilitation sessions on a fortnightly or monthly basis after their main treatment course. These sessions help maintain progress, continue improving strength and mobility, and reduce the chance of the problem returning.
Treatment Packages
You can pay session by session (£70 for the Initial Assessment and £50 per follow-up), or choose one of our treatment packages and save money.

This varies from person to person. Some people notice significant improvement after just a few sessions, while others need a longer, more structured rehabilitation programme.
Most patients achieve the best results with a combination of hands-on treatment and personalised exercises, typically over 6 to 10 sessions. We’ll regularly review your progress and adjust the plan with you to make sure we’re always working towards your individual goals.
Most of our treatments are gentle and comfortable. Some hands-on techniques or exercises may cause mild discomfort while we’re working on stiff or painful areas, but this is usually short-lived. We always work within your comfort levels and will adjust the treatment if anything feels too strong.
Please wear something comfortable and easy to move in — gym clothes, leggings, shorts, or joggers are ideal. If we’re treating your upper body (neck, shoulder, or back), a vest top or sports bra makes the assessment and treatment much easier.

The treatment area is behind a curtain so you can get yourself ready in privacy.
Shockwave is included in our treatment packages at no extra cost.
If paying as you go, there is an additional cost of £15 per session – or a package of 3 sessions can be purchased for £40 and used along side pay as you go sessions.

I had a deep tissue massage focusing on my back and legs, and it was absolutely amazing! The pressure was perfect, and I left feeling so much lighter and completely relaxed. I’m really pleased with the whole experience and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

The training app he uses is a great way to incorporate tech into customers rehab journeys as well.
Will continue to use and recommend to others 😀.
Of pain therapy natually causes.
Would recommend him to anyone.
After just 4 sessions, I've been given some strength-building and stretching exercises which have reduced my pain massively and reduced the effect on my day-to-day life. I'm now in a much-improved position where I can continue to self manage and I'm confident it will only continue to improve.
Rob is friendly and knowledgeable and his facilities are professional and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him if you need any support!
and set me up on an app that gave me a neck program to complete each day, which does help. Rob is happy to answer any questions you may have and walk you through what he is going to do and how you can help yourself. If you're in pain, don't hesitate to contact Rob. You will thank yourself for it. Thanks for all your help, Rob.
Booked an appointment easily through the website and have had multiple appointments with Rob, who is brilliant, and is helping me to recover from a sporting injury.
There is a really useful triage assessment that you can complete on the website. I found this to be really good.
